We ditched the permanent welds and went with a modular clip system and slide-in rails. It makes the unit a bit heavier, sure, but it means you can fix it yourself with a couple of basic tools. Give the contacts a quick clean, pop in a fresh tube, and it’ll feel like a brand new unit again.
